Overview of the competition
The latest of the inter-university competitions, the Financial Open is an event that is in continuous expansion since its inception in 2006. This year, over 300 students from 12 business schools across Eastern Canada will join in order to compete in this highly-anticipated case competition. With 6 cases in accounting and finance, as well as a stock market simulation event, students from the RÉFAEC association (Regroupement des Étudiants des Facultés d’Admnistration de l’Est du Canada) will put their skills to the test in front of their peers and prominent members of the business community.
This year, the Financial Open competition will be held from February 5th to 7th, 2010, and will be hosted by the Desautels Faculty of Management of McGill University. This is an unparalleled opportunity for your business to get involved in the most prestigious competition of its kind and gain access to a highly talented, motivated, and bright pool of university students.
